Canine Companions for Independence, a national non-profit organization with a regional Colorado office and a dedicated corps of volunteers in the Vail Valley will host its annual fundraiser at the Edwards Interfaith Chapel and Community Center on August 15th from 5:30 – 8:30 pm. The event will showcase several graduates of the program, an international buffet, live auction and a special guest of honor – teenage author, Shea Megale. Tickets are $100 for adults and $50 for children.

The Edwards Interfaith Chapel and Community Center announced today it is providing four classrooms for 4 classes of the Stone Creek Charter School for the upcoming school year from Monday through Friday each week. Final details of which grades and the terms of the agreement are still being finalized.

The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration is hosting a Twelfth Night Celebration on Saturday, January 8th at 5:30 pm at the new Edwards Interfaith Chapel and Community Center. The event is free and open to the public and marks the end of the Christmas season and celebrates the arrival of the three wise men visiting the Christ child.

Spanish language services to be offered on Tuesday evenings at 7pm and on Sundays from 12-2pm
The Edwards Interfaith Chapel and Community Center announced today it is expanding its services to meet the needs of the community. Iglesia Apostolicia de la fe en Cristo Jesus congregation will offer Spanish language services on Tuesday evenings at 7pm and on Sundays from 12-2pm. The services are free and open to anyone in the community.

The Edwards Interfaith Chapel and Community Center announced today that it will finish Phase I of the building due to the generosity of the community. Over $10 million dollars was raised since the capital campaign began 5 years ago and over the past several weeks members of the community helped finish out the remaining contributions. About half of the interior of the building was finished in the initial contract for Phase I. The board did not want to proceed with the rest of the interior until it received sufficient cash and pledges to finish the remainder of Phase I.
